Welcome to the Friends of Willaston School Association website. We are a group of parents, community members and staff who work together to fundraise for Willaston Primary Academy. We work together to organise family-friendly events. Our main events throughout the year include.

World Worm Charming Championship

Fine-tune your worm charming skills for this quirky, eccentric and fun family summer event.

Fireworks Extravaganza

Light up the dark nights as the clocks change at our popular Fireworks Extravaganza and outdoor disco in November.

Christmas Grotto and Elfridges

A chance to meet the big guy in the red suit and get set for Christmas.

Small Fundraisers

We run small fundraisers and sell refreshments at school events throughout the school year, including discos.

How do I get involved?

None of the above could have been possible without the amazing support of our volunteers, and we are always keen to welcome new members. We are a social group who meet every few months to chat about all things FWSA and plan events. Why not come to a meeting, or join our volunteer WhatsApp group to find out more? There are so many ways you can help us and the range of support currently ranges from people who man stalls at events and bake cakes to people who design our event graphics and complete our financial returns.
